DIMENSION OF THE WORD OF GOD

In this article, I will explore the four dimensions of the word of God. As we grow in our Christian walk, we experience different dimensions of the word of God, we grow from one level to the next dimension. True transformations begin with “me”. We cannot change others, but we have to learn to start from ourselves. Become the change you want to see. Let us look at the four dimensions of the work of the word of God.
First Dimension: The word of God works on me– In this growth dimension, you learn to allow the word of God transforming your personal life. In this dimension, the word personally convicts you. As you allow the word of God in your life, you get rooted and grounded in the word. This means, your life is now founded in the word of God, and nothing can move you from His word. in 1 Corinthians 15:58, we see that the word of God makes you steadfast, strong and immovable. In Isaiah 55:11 we learn that the word of God will never return to Him void. The word of God has a mandate to work in our life to yield fruitfulness from within us. In this first dimension, the word of God starts to yield fruits within us. It all starts with me.
As we mature in God, we start to understand the authority of God’s word and we allow the word to work on our behalf. The word is a sword in my mouth, send the word of God to fight for your life. The word of God has no limitations. Once we learn to speak the word, it will go to places where we cannot go.
Third dimension: The word of God works through me– We are carriers of the word of God. God want us to be vessels that carry His word to others. The word of God has power to transform our utterance. As we walk with God, He will give us a voice to speak to others in our life. Moses though a stammerer was transformed to be a vessel of deliverance to the Israelite. Moses was equipped with a word of deliverance “Let My people Go”. Moses was able to face Pharaoh since he had the word of God. God used Moses to bring deliverance to the Israelite. God will work through us to bring life to the world around us. we have to allow the word of God to give us a unique voice that will cause deliverance to many. The word of God will also give us an influence in our society that will bring many people to their God-given destiny.
Fourth dimension: The word of God works with me- In this dimension, we understand that the word of God cannot accomplish the purpose of God without our involvement. The Lord wants us to participate in fulfilling His word. Hebrews 4:2 speaks of mixing the word of God with Faith. The word of God does not have effect until we apply faith. Once we hear the word of God, we have to learn to take that word and mix it with faith. Faith is action, obedience is faith in action. We hear the word of God and It is really important that we start obeying the word. we are just hearers of the word but doers of the word. The word of God less faith is of no effect. Once we hear the word of God, we should not harden our hearts in rebellion rather we should embrace the word of God and respond by faith. (Hebrews 3:15). As we respond by faith, we become partakers of the promises of God.
May the word of God have its full work on us. as Mary said, “Let it be to me according to your word” Luke 1:38.
May we be shaped by your word oh Lord. May you use us as vessels of honor to carry your word to the nations.
